Spurs bounced back from a score of 0:3, but did not hold a draw
Liverpool in a dramatic match at home beat Tottenham in the 34th round English Premier League – 4:3.
The Reds scored three times in the first 15 minutes. Curtis Jones opened the scoring, two minutes later Luis Diaz scored the second goal and some time later Mohamed Salah converted a penalty.
At the end of the first half, the guests played one ball, Harry Kane scored after a pass from Ivan Perisic. And after the break, Son Heung Min reduced the gap to a minimum. Already in stoppage time, Richarlison equalized the score, but a minute later, Diogo Jota snatched the victory for the hosts.
Liverpool moved into fifth place, displacing Tottenham from it. The Reds have 56 points, the Spurs have 54 points.
Liverpool next play Fulham on 3 May. Tottenham will host Crystal Palace on May 6th.
