CEO Inter Giuseppe Marotta spoke about the possibility that Romelu Lukaku and will spend next season with the Milanese club.
– He likes Inter, but under the contract he belongs to Chelsea, so the decision is up to the Londoners. We will discuss other options for Lukaku with the coach and the board, we will see what happens next. Anyway, he loves Inter,” journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Marotta as saying on social media.
Lukaku’s current contract with Chelsea runs until the end of June 2026.
This season, the Belgian has made 28 appearances for the Milan club in all competitions, in which he scored nine goals.
