The goalkeeper of Real Madrid and the Ukrainian national team bought a lot, the money from which will go to help the Ukrainian army.
Roman Zozulya reports on the results of a charity auction he made in collaboration with a public organization. The former footballer of Dynamo, Dnipro and the Ukrainian national team, and now player Rayo Mayadahonda, has put up for sale boxing gloves given by world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Sports equipment signed by the boxer for an undisclosed amount was bought by Real Madrid goalkeeper Andrei Lunin. All the money raised from the sale was used to buy two cars for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Vehicles will be moved in the direction of Bakhmut.
“They played Usyk – they bought two cars.
Recently, together with the public organization Ukrainians of Alkala, they held an auction, where the boxing gloves of Oleksandr Usyk were the main lot.
Andrei Lunin turned out to be a long-time admirer of Alexander, so his rate was the highest.
With the proceeds, we were able to buy two cars for our champions in the direction of Bakhmut.
Thanks to everyone who organized the auction and participated in it. Special thanks to the People’s Army Foundation.
We are all fans of the same team and work hard for its success,” Roman wrote on Instagram.
It can be recalled that earlier Zozulya criticized the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
