Athletistic/Football. Football coach Andrey Kanchelskis commented on Lokomotiv Moscow striker Artyom Dzyuba’s game during the spring part of the season. In the current RPL season, 34-year-old Dziuba has made 8 appearances, scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists.
Kanchelskis said the fact that Dzyuba has scored 8 goals in eight appearances in the RPL’s spring leg indicates that the level of our league is now well below average. He also noted that players who failed in Europe can become the best in the RPL, citing Quincy Promes as an example. Kanchelskis is convinced that the RPL level is not as high as Dom-2 singers and storytellers say. He added that he had nothing against Dzyuba, who continues to score and set up goals in Russia, but if he scored eight goals in eight games in Turkey it would be more impressive.
