Frosinone returned to Serie Asecuring one of two direct tickets to Italy’s elite division.
In the 35th round of the Serie B, Frosinone beat Regina (3:1). The club scored 71 points and, three rounds before the finish line, was 10 points clear of third-placed Bari.
Frosinone is promoted to Serie A for the third time in history. Previously, Gialloblu played there in the 2015/16 and 2018/19 seasons.
Genoa and Bari are vying for a second direct ticket to Serie A. The club from Genoa is ahead of its competitor by 6 points.
