Already traditional:
- read soon on our website the symbolic team of the next round
- interview with the hero of the tour, which the Sport Arena determines together with the PFL
And now – our individual nominations:

Having lost four players at once in the CZ-OPZ quadrangle, Kalitvintsev managed to adapt the left-back Shapoval in the center of defense, and also risked putting 19-year-old Petruk next to Kushnirenko in the key match in Cherkasy – and they pulled work in the support zone. Having stellar, high-quality wingers Vakula and Yanakov, Polesie played against the LNZ without accentuated flank midfielders – insider Kozak played on the right, attacker Shastal played on the left, and this arrhythmia, asymmetry worked in stretching the defense of the hosts. Finally, Polissya showed strong-willed qualities and regained the advantage in the score in the second half. This is indeed a worthy victory for the new leader, who, even in the increased, denser competitive level of the Champions Group, bears the burden of leadership, regaining the first place.
Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – here.

This is a good tour for jokers: Mironyuk from Epicenter consolidated the advantage of his team in Kremenchuk (this goal actually became a winner), Shkurat from Dinaz provided an assist for a saving goal, Shapovalov from Skoruk assisted for a saving goal by Malysh in Chernivtsi, Mikhailenko from Mariupol also earned penalty for a decisive goal. But the craziest joker is the same age as Aliyev and Milevsky, who saved the Cossacks from a conditionally home defeat from Niva with his shot in stoppage time of the second half. An impressively important episode – and Vladimir, with his goal from an acute angle from a free kick, is a real symbol of professionalism.
- Sport Arena stats: 11 league matches, 1 goal.

The 19-year-old midfielder has not yet had such a level of testing in his career, although he has already played a lot for the Zhytomyr team and even in the starting lineup. The fact is that the young graduate of the Zhytomyr region football, who before Polissya tried his hand in the Lviv Carpathians and Rukh, and was also called up to the youth team of Ukraine, was forced to replace the key player in the starting lineup – the injured Ogirya, moreover, another more experienced player who could to do this (Krushinsky) also ended up in the infirmary. Petruk unexpectedly confidently and reliably played in a duet with Kushnirenko, thanks to his partner he was able to avoid the jitters of the starting minutes and gave the Zhytomyr team an advantage in this difficult, decisive outing.
- Sport Arena stats: 6 matches in the championship.
Yes, what will you do! Beauty is enough. Here’s a match between Metallurg and Niva, and Kozak’s goals from the game and Polevoi from a free-kick can be taken to the exhibition right away. Defender (!) LNZ Muravsky scored with his heel. So we could have gone over a few more contenders, but that was the emotional high point of the tour. And this is the best goal of the week, which will be remembered at the end of the season. Quoting the report: “Bobko fell in the fight for the top ball with Fateev, earned a free kick and kicked the winning goal in the tenth stoppage minute with his left foot around the wall – 1:2. The second goal in four matches for Ivan! In fact, after that, the referee gave the final whistle.
Goal can be seen on video z 3:27
Read later on our website an interview with a player who scored himself and took part in a scoring combination, which allowed Vyshgorod team to recoup in a difficult match with SC Poltava.
- Sport Arena stats: 15 league matches, 3 goals.

“I don’t see competitors point-blank”: Philip Budkovsky celebrates a goal in Cherkasy. Polissya and at the second stage – the leader.
President of FC Obolon Alexander Slobodyan:
“Playing with ten against twelve on the field is hard. The referee added 7 minutes to the second half. We scored a goal in the eleventh minute of extra time. We replayed the second half by ten and a half minutes. Here is the answer to the question why our team lost 1:2. Of course, their player masterfully executed a free kick. But, in this case, the judges did not let us play, especially the second half. I have been thinking for many years whether to continue in such conditions? Will this system ever be broken? We expect that this system will be broken, that normal order will be restored in our football. But, unfortunately, so far these are only dreams. Mine, our football club, our fans and people who share our views.”
Leaders have changed in both G-8s.
A few more interesting things:
- The 100th match in the First League was played by Dmitry Fateev (Obolon), the 50th by Artem Kozak (Polesye)
- The 40th goal in the First League is scored by Roman Barchuk (Prykarpattya), the 1st by Mykola Mironyuk (Epicenter, in the 21st game), Mykola Gorzhui (Poltava, in the 15th), Nazariy Muravsky (LNZ, in the 3rd )
- three teams are still undefeated in the spring part of the season (Karpaty, Prykarpattya and Skoruk), one cannot win (Niva)
