Francesco Maroccu is the new sports director of Hellas Verona. The Scaligero club announced this with the following statement: “FC Hellas Verona announces that it has entrusted the position of sports director to Francesco Marocca. Born in Cagliari on 8 August 1966, Moroccu began his career as a Serie A sports manager with the Sardinian club in 2005, first as a secretary and then as general manager of the Rossoblu club, before becoming its sports director in 2014. In the following seasons he was sporting director of Italian and foreign clubs: Beira Mar (Portugal), Ascoli, Leeds (England), Sagan Tosu (Japan), Feralpisalo, Brescia and Genoa. The Club warmly welcomes Francesco Marrocca and wishes him good work at the head of the sporting direction of the Jalloblu Club.” .
