Madrid do not see the return of Cristiano as a player
Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Al-Nasr.
The player wants to return to Europe. Cristiano was approached by the ex-club of the Portuguese Real Madrid, who offered Ronaldo the role of club ambassador.
Recall Ronaldo moved to the club from Saudi Arabia in the winter. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has signed a contract until the summer of 2025.
With Al-Nasr, Cristiano was eliminated in the semi-finals of the Saudi Cup. In the standings, the Portuguese team is in second place in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.
The experienced striker has 12 goals and two assists in 14 matches in all competitions for Al-Nasr.
Earlier Al-Nasr fired head coach Rudy Garcia. Dinko Jelicic, coach of the U-19 squad, became the team’s new mentor. Also resigned after a series of defeats, the president of the club, Musalli Al-Muammar.
