The Gunners are two points ahead of Manchester City after playing two more games
Arsenal in the home match of the 34th round Premier League outplayed Chelsea — 3:1.
Back in the first half, the Gunners scored three goals: the captain of the hosts Odegaard scored with a brace, another goal was scored by Jesus. The Blues got back only one goal late in the middle of the second half through the efforts of Madueke, who took advantage of Zinchenko’s mistake.
Ukrainian Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko played his 32nd match for the Gunners. In total, he scored a goal and two assists. His compatriot, Chelsea winger Mikhail Mudrik, came out in the second half. This is Mikhail’s 14th match (two assists) with the Blues.
Arsenal topped the Premier League table. The Gunners are two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, but the Londoners have played two rounds more. Chelsea have suffered their 14th defeat of the season (sixth in a row in all competitions) and are in 12th place.
In the next round, the Blues will play Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny with Bournemouth on May 6. Arsenal will face Newcastle a day later.
