The hero of the 4th round of the second stage of the First League Bogdan Orinchak: “It’s nice to experience these emotions again”

Sport Arena and the PFL each round determine the winner, a rare case – this week it is a midfielder who opened the scoring for the new team and helped it win back two goals in a home match

He moved from Prykarpattya to Dinaz in the winter and in the new place became one of the oldest in the team, despite his 29 years. Status obliges, so Orinchak immediately took on the burden of leadership. SK Poltava led the score in Demidov, after the first half had an advantage of two goals, but Dinaz bounced back with the direct help of Bogdan – he scored himself and took part in the second scoring combination.

So the Sport Arena and the PFL had no doubt who the hero of the fourth round of the second stage of the First League was. Bogdan Orinchak in an interview to our site told how a super-strong draw against Poltava (2:2) was obtained.

‒ Bogdan, could you share your impressions of being recognized as the best player of the tour?

“It’s nice to experience those emotions again. Winning an honorary nomination motivates new achievements. I hope that my daily work will continue to bring results.

– Before the match with Poltava, the team scored only three points. Is this the result you expected or hoped for the best?

– We try to win and score points in every match, but, unfortunately, we made a number of mistakes that our opponents took advantage of. We try to draw the right conclusions from each match in order to be able to progress.

– During the matches, Dinaz had problems with constructiveness in the final third of the field. What do you think it is connected with?

– In my opinion, our main problem is implementation. We create chances, but we can’t score. We need to play more coolly in the final third of the field, because the opponents punish us for wastefulness.

Polissya outplayed LNZ, Karpaty won a victory over Obolonnya and other matches of the 4th round of another stage

– What did the coaching staff focus on on the eve of the match? Did Shcherbak’s absence play a hand in yours?

‒ The coaching staff carefully studied our opponent, focused on their experienced attacking players who are good at using free zones due to speed. To be honest, I’m not sure that Shcherbak would have changed something in this match. However, this is certainly an individually strong player, a real scorer.

– Your team failed in the first half. What is the reason for the two conceded goals?

‒ We made mistakes that allowed the opponent to score. Perhaps some of our players were psychologically unprepared for such an aggressive game of the Poltava team. In addition, the condition of the lawn was not the best.

– After the break, your team began to deliver the ball faster to the attack. This is exactly what Alexander Golovko emphasized.

‒ It was necessary to add more aggression in the attack and convert our chances, because we had 45 minutes left to change everything. I believe that in the second half of the meeting we played pretty well, but we wanted to win. We played at home and had to do everything to rectify the situation.

‒ In the 64th minute, after Kos dropped, you closed the lead. Remember this episode?

‒ I received a pass from my partner and moved with my left foot to the opposite flank, where Anton Salabay was. He gave the transfer to Valentin Koreshkov, who filed from the flank and I had to close the far post and send the ball into the net!

– After scoring a goal, you continued to dominate. Did you feel confident in your abilities?

– Indeed, we have gained confidence that we can achieve a positive result in this very difficult game. All forces were given to play more aggressively in the final third of the field.

‒ In the 78th minute, after your cross and Shkurat’s discount, Kirichenko equalized the score. Do you play such flank combinations?

‒ In training, the coaching staff focuses on flank passes. We do this every workout and even after workouts.

– Given the course of the match, can you be satisfied with a draw?

‒ We made every effort to win and carefully prepared for this game, but, unfortunately, we failed in the first half. A draw is a satisfactory result, but not desirable.

– For you personally, is this the best game in the spring so far? Do you feel that you are gradually adapting to the new team?

– This game was significant for me, but I am sure that there will be even better matches ahead. In general, adaptation is very easy, because we have a young, ambitious team, we support and help each other.

‒ In the next round you will play against Skoruk, whom you recently lost without a chance. Do you want to redeem yourself for that defeat?

‒ We have already started preparing for the match against Skoruk. We will try to rehabilitate ourselves for that unfortunate defeat and prove to the fans that it was an accident, and we can play much better.
