Sam Allardyce named head coach “LEDs” according to the English football club’s website.
The English specialist took over from the Spanish Javi Grace , who left the post after 12 appearances in charge of the team. Allardyce, 68, will be assisted by former Charlton manager Carl Robinson.
Leeds are 17th in the Premier League with 30 points from 34 games. In the next meeting on Saturday, the team will play on the road with Manchester City.
Allardyce previously managed Blackpool, Notts County, Bolton, Newcastle, Blackburn, West Ham, Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Everton, with one game in 2016 hosted by the England side. Allardyce has over 500 appearances as an English Premier League manager.
