Four years in prison, a five-year suspension from public office, the deprivation of the title of journalist and a separate obligation to pay damages: this is the verdict of the Court of Appeal of Naples in the case of extortion committed by Rosario Lamberti vs. Ezio Capuanoaccording to the newspaper Morning. Lamberti found himself under house arrest in 2021 on charges of attempted extortion and aggravated defamation against former coach Avellino, and ended up in jail in March 2022 for a series of violations of the imposed regulations. Lamberti himself has been indicted in the case, and the trial will begin in mid-June.
