The Footballer’s Health Conference, organized by the Italian Association of Coaches and the Italian Footballers’ Association, will take place in Rome on May 24 at 14:30 in the main hall of the Acqua Acetosa Olympic Training Center (Largo Giulio Onesti, 1).
The conference, which will present the results of the first survey aimed at all players and all staff in Serie A, is designed to explore the topic of “overactivity”, based on current scientific knowledge, which states that under conditions of “normal stress”, going beyond the “limit” one match in four days, the physical integrity of the athlete is in real danger.
The moment of the meeting, which AIAC and AIC intend to promote with this initiative, aims to paint a concrete picture of the situation, to deepen the motivations behind the current operating model, with the aim of making proposals capable of starting an in-depth discussion on the subject.
