PSG condemned the actions of supporters gathered at the home of the team striker Neymar and chanted at him to leave the club.
Previously, it was reported that the Parisian club’s ultras expressed their displeasure with the Brazilian footballer’s play and his attitude towards the club.
“Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest terms the offensive actions of a small group of individuals. Regardless of the differences of opinion, there is no justification for such actions. The club gives its full support to its players, its staff and to all those who have been victims of such shameful behavior, PSG said in a press release.
Neymar underwent surgery in March in Doha, Qatar due to an ankle injury he suffered in the French Championship game against Lille, he will miss the remaining games of the season.
