Former Spartak Moscow coach Raul Riancho has told RB Sport that the Red-Whites will finish higher than Rostov in the Russian league.
– Unfortunately, “Spartak” could not keep the intrigue in the fight for the championship with “Zenith”. Now it is important that they are second. I think Spartak will bypass Rostov and become the RPL silver medalist at the end of the season.
And Valery Karpin deserves the title of coach of the year, because his team did much better than expected. Rostov showed an excellent result – mainly thanks to the professionalism of the coach, – said Riancho.
Zenit leads the WORLD RPL ranking with 61 points, Spartak is third (49), Rostov is second (50).
