Mayor of Kyiv met with US Secretary of State Blinken
Mayor of Kyiv, former WBC and WBO heavyweight champion, Vitaliy Klichko during the Mayors’ Summit in Denver urged partners to continue helping Ukraine.
“The terrorist country must be punished, war criminals must finally be brought to justice. Because Russia is not going to stop. And he continues to kill peaceful Ukrainians, in particular, women and children. Purposefully bombs residential buildings, commits genocide of the Ukrainian people.”
“And the sooner the civilized, democratic world helps Ukraine stop the barbarians, the sooner there will be peace and stability in Europe. I noted this in Denver, at the summit of mayors, during a meeting with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. At this critical juncture, partner assistance must be stepped up. Both military and economic.
Earlier, Vitaliy Klitschko received an encouragement from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny.
Recall that Vitali Klitschko became an honorary citizen of Warsaw. The award for his brother, who continues to lead Kiev during martial law, was received by his brother Vladimir.
Klitschko Sr. also became a laureate of the Excellence in Sports Award (ESPY). The Ukrainian received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.
