Belarus national football team will play the home matches of the European Championship 2024 qualifying tournament with the teams Israel And Kosovo in Budapest, reports the press service of the Belarusian Football Federation (BFF).
The corresponding agreement was concluded between the BFF and the Hungarian Football Federation, the decision was approved by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The matches will take place on June 16 (with the Israeli team) and June 19 (with the Kosovo team) at the Ferenc Susa stadium in the Hungarian capital.
By decision of UEFA, the home matches of the Belarusian national team will be played on neutral territory and without the admission of fans to the stands due to the situation in Ukraine.
The Belarusian team (0 points) takes the last place in qualifying group I. The teams of Switzerland and Romania are in the lead (6 points each), followed by the teams of Kosovo (2), Andorra (1) and of Israel (1 ).
