Former Moscow midfielder “Spartacus” Andrei Tikhonov advocated the sale of beer in stadiums.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will not object to the draft law on the sale of beer in stadiums, but subject to the use of a fan card. This was stated by the representative of the department Valéry Botvin.
— I support the return of light alcoholic beverages to the stadium. Well, a light beer. So that there is no heavy beer in the stadiums, so that people get drunk after two mugs. I support the return of beer. Perhaps, as before, sponsors will return to the teams. Teams need help in the form of sponsors. Now is a difficult time. Someone will still say that drunken faces will walk around the toilet – it’s ugly. I think when you drink two or three mugs of beer during the holidays, there is nothing to worry about, Tikhonov told the championship.
The ban on the sale of beer in sports facilities has been in force across the country since January 1, 2005. During the World Cup in Russia, beer exceptionally returned to stadiums.
