In the national team of the country, the goalkeeper played under the guidance of nine coaches
On June 11, 2022, Andriy Pyatov retired from the Ukrainian national team. The goalkeeper gave 16 years to the main team of Ukraine, for more than 10 seasons he remained the unconditional first number of the blue-and-yellows and became a real legend of the Ukrainian team. One Andriy Pyatov managed to mark himself as an assist in matches for the Ukrainian national team. It happened in the Euro 2016 qualification in 2015 in a home match against Belarus. Then Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring with the goalkeeper’s pass.
Four goals – the most that Pyatov conceded in one match for the national team. And even then, it happened only once: in the League of Nations of the 2020/2021 season in an away match with Spain.
Under four Pyatov played with different numbers in the Ukrainian national team. The “branded” number of the goalkeeper is the 12th, with him the goalkeeper spent 15.5 seasons. Andrey played under the 1st, 23rd and 30th numbers.
Six Andriy Pyatov played matches at the European Championships. The goalkeeper was the main goalkeeper in the 2012 and 2016 tournaments, having played all the matches in the group stages. At Euro 2020, the goalkeeper did not enter the field.

57 matches with Pyatov at the gate were won by the Ukrainian team. The blue-yellows ended 25 matches with the goalkeeper in a draw, 23 – lost.
60 Pyatov played matches for the national team in qualifying tournaments for the World and European Championships. And also played 29 friendly matches.
