The club suggests that the Ukrainian will leave the team in search of playing practice
Madrid Real is preparing to sign a reserve goalkeeper in the summer transfer window. The club expects that the Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin will ask for a transfer to get match practice.
If the Ukrainian leaves, the Blancos will look for an inexpensive replacement. Among the candidates are David Ospina, who plays in Al-Nasr, and 18-year-old American Gabriel Slonina, who plays for Chicago Fire on loan from Chelsea.
Lunin played his last match for Real Madrid against Girona, entering the field due to the illness of the main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Andriy conceded four goals from the team of Ukrainian Viktor Tsygankov.
In total, Lunin has made 12 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, conceding 13 goals. In four fights, the Ukrainian played “to zero”.
Real Madrid are third in La Liga, one point behind Atlético Madrid. The Blancos will face Osasuna next in the Copa del Rey final on May 6.
