Fortaleza coach Vojvoda was candid about the team’s 11-match unbeaten run; Tricolor drew with Corinthians at Neo Química Arena

Juan Pablo Vojvodawhich commands the Strengthopened the game on the draw with Corinthians in the middle of Neo Química Arena, which took place last Monday, the 8th. With the result, Tricolor do Pici maintained a sequence of 11 games free of defeats (eight triumphs and three equal scores). Thus, when questioned what would be the ‘secret’ to the successful campaign, the Argentine coach was categorical.

“Not much of a secret. And work”spiked Vojvoda. “Perhaps a very common word is everyday work. Not just coaching staff and players. It is a responsible job for everyone in the club. But the challenge is that the Strength keep growing. The Northeast has an important passion for football”.

The coach added: “Our challenge is that our club continues to grow, step by step, believing that we can fight against teams that have history. But Fortaleza has the same condition to fight, with the same humility, feet on the ground, but also believing”. Scoring a point away from home, the team parked in 4th place in the table at the end of the round.

It is worth mentioning that Vojvoda reached an important milestone in his history with Fortaleza: in the match against Corinthiansthe Argentine matched Rogerio Ceni as the 2nd coach with the most games for Leão, in a total of 153 duels. Moésio Gomes still holds the highest number, with 229 defined clashes.
