Andriy Shevchenko played in another charity match. This time, the former head coach of the Ukrainian national team entered the field for the world team against the English team. The Ukrainian team won the penalty shoot-out. As Shevchenko himself said, thanks to the Soccer Aid 2022 match, they were able to raise more than $ 19 million.
“I am very proud to take part in the charity match of Soccer Aid 2022, along with many former teammates, friends and champions, as a representative of the world of football and an ambassador for Ukrainian sports. Thank you for your support, achievement we have a record 15,673,728 pounds (over 19 million dollars) in Soccer Aid history, ”Shevchenko wrote on his Instagram.
