Eduardo Bauermann, from Santos, receives threats from gamblers; check out!

After having conversations revealed with bettors, the defender Edward Bauermann was removed by saints. However, the problem got even bigger. After failing to comply with the agreement to force yellow and red cards in games for Peixe, the defender was threatened with death and tried to justify himself in front of those involved in the scheme.

The dialogue was released and revealed by the website “GE”. Later, Eduardo Bauermann’s main contact sent the print with the death threat to the defender. The response was as follows :

“Die, brother? We don’t need it. I’m trying to solve to send you this value as I told you“, replied Bauermann. The charges continued and got worse. This is because the defender did not fulfill the first agreement, which was to receive a yellow card in the match against Hawaii. For not having complied, the new agreement was for the expulsion in the next game, against Botafogo.

It is worth noting that Eduardo Bauermann had already received R$50,000 in advance. Much pressured in the messages, he was sent off against Botafogo, but only after the final whistle, which caused damage to the punters. The value is around R$ 800 thousand. Once again, the atmosphere in the messages heated up, and the defender was again threatened with death.

“Forgive me, bro. I did what was agreed but I didn’t know the rule, as I told you. With all certainty if I had known that it was not worth after the whistle I would have done it, without a doubt. But I didn’t know and I had to find a way. But as I said, I want to resolve this because I am a family man, I have a pregnant wife, two small children… I want to resolve this” wrote Bauermann.

The gambler continued to charge, who released Bauermann to take the case to the police. “Let’s show our strength“, he said. The defender replied: “I have a pregnant wife, I have two young children, you even talked about killing me. I want to work this out and things don’t get to that point“, completed the player in the exchange of messages.

According to the prints released by the “GE” website, Eduardo Bauermann made transfers to the bettor to return the amount received in advance. The defender claimed that he was experiencing financial problems due to the birth of his daughter. In addition, the bettor asked if he could negotiate with more athletes from Santos. In the revealed messages, Bauermann’s manager demonstrated knowledge of the scheme. However, in contact with the “GE” site, Luiz Taveira stated that he recommended not complying with the agreement. To close, the athlete considered being negotiated and passing on the value to the bettors. Amidst the controversy, Santos released an official note and removed the defender from the squad.
