The Rossoneri legend appreciated the current team
Legendary former striker Milana Andriy Shevchenko praised the current Rossoneri line-up and noted the game put in by head coach Stefano Pioli.
“I really like the team. They all play for each other. I notice this especially in difficult times. And there are also quality players who can decide or change the fate of the meeting. The current Milan knows how to suffer and knows how to fight, knows how to get dirty, if necessary. In addition, the hand of the coach is clearly visible.
Milan are fifth in Serie A. Stefano Pioli’s side are two points behind the Champions League zone.
Milan will play a derby against Inter in the semi-finals of the Champions League. In the first fight at the San Siro on May 10, the Rossoneri will be the nominal hosts. The return match will take place on May 16.
