Despite the adverse result in the duel against sportaway from home, for Série B, the goalkeeper Felipe Garcia has something to celebrate in the match. Since 2019 defending the tombense, Felipe reached the mark of 166 games with the shirt of the Tombos team and became the player with the most games in the history of the club. The 35-year-old archer celebrated the brand and highlighted the importance of Carcará in his career.
“I am very happy to reach a mark like this. Being the player with the most games leaves me marked in the history of the club and that is a reason for great joy. Since I arrived at Tombense, I have been welcomed by everyone and I feel at home. Tombense embraced me at a delicate moment in my career, so I am very grateful to the club for everything it has done for me”, he said.
With five points conquered, Tombense is currently in 15th place in the table. Next Saturday, the Minas Gerais team will face Ceará, away from home. Felipe spoke about the team’s current moment in Serie B and said he hopes to continue increasing his number of games for the club.
“We know that Série B is a very difficult competition, it has qualified teams that will always bring us difficulties. But we have a strong group and we are going in pursuit of our goals. I hope I can stay here in Tombense, it’s a place where I feel at home. Therefore, I want to continue making history for the club and increasing the number of matches for the team.”he concluded.
