La Liga boss blamed PSG for inflating wage bill

La Liga chief Javier Tebas has spoken negatively about PSG’s transfer policy, especially the recent contract extension with Kylian Mbappe.

Tebas noted that authorizing operations such as Mbappé’s contract renewal is “more dangerous than the Superliga because the French club are going to end the season with a wage bill of 600 million euros – 40% of the whole Ligue 1 – and 200 million losses, to which must be added an additional 300 million, so they will have to cheat either by paying outside the French milieu, or by increasing their sponsorship, which they are already doing, or by exceeding the authorized level of expenditure.

Tebas pointed out that “with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, La Liga 1 won 70 million and La Liga 900 million” because increasing competition, according to him, “is not done by signing stars”.
