Rennes honors the memory of a journalist who died near Bakhmut

Arman Soldin covered events in Ukraine, and in his youth he played for the academy of a French club.

Rennes paid tribute to Arman Soldin. Recall that the latter was a military journalist and covered the entire Russian terrorist invasion of Ukraine. The reporter died as a result of shelling near Bakhmut at the age of 32.

At the same time, at a young age, Soldin played for the “red-blacks”. In particular, the future journalist played for the club’s academy in the U-13 and U-15 teams.

The action took place in the French championship match against Troyes. The management of Rennes invited around 30 relatives and friends of Soldin. Before the start of the game, a minute’s silence was announced around the stadium. Fans applauded the correspondent as his photos were displayed on the stadium scoreboard.

Rennes beat Troyes 4-0 in Ligue 1.
