Last Sunday, in the confrontation against São Paulo, Fagner reached the mark of 500 games defending the Corinthians. At the club permanently since 2015, the right-back remains the 10th most capped player in the club’s history, just seven behind 9th-placed defender Olavwho played for Timão between 1952 and 1961.
In these 500 official games, the 33-year-old athlete participated in two titles of the Brasileirão and three others Paulista Championships. In a publication on social networks, the club from São Paulo praised Fagner’s history in the team, but he is not going through a good phase.
