The French midfielder has refused to renew his contract with the Catalan club.
Ousmane Dembele and Barcelona did not reach the common denominator on the issue of contract extension. According to the publication Mundo Deportivo, the offer does not suit the French midfielder and this summer he will leave the location of the Catalan club.
So, the new team will get the winger for free, as the 25-year-old footballer’s current contract with Barcelona will expire on June 30, 2022, and he will leave the club as a free agent.
Note that in the 2021/22 season, Dembele scored 2 goals and provided 13 assists in 32 games for the Catalans in all competitions.
