Former Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Alexander Samedov think midfielder Atalanta Alexei Miranchuk should not return to the Russian championship.
Earlier, reports emerged in the media that Atalanta included the Russian in the list of players the club are ready to sell in the summer transfer window.
– Alexei can still succeed in Europe. He did well in Italy. I don’t think he should go back to Russia. He will be able to find a club where he will have enough game training,” said Samedov, as quoted by RBC Sport.
Miranchuk has been playing for Atalanta since September 2020. The 26-year-old made 25 appearances for the club in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
