Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) will announce the appointment Sergei Rebrovand head coach national team of Ukraine maximum next week.
The senior assistant will be Vicente Gomez, who will be in charge of tactics. The coaching staff will also include Alberto Bosch (opponent analysis), Gleb Platov (scouting, analytics). It is reported that Platov will retain the position of technical director of Dnepr-1.
The goalkeeping coach position has not yet been approved. With a high probability, Rustam Khudzhamov will take it.
The coaching staff will work until the end of the 2026 World Cup cycle. By mutual agreement of the parties, the contract can be extended for another two cycles – up to and including the 2030 World Cup.
Ukraine is fourth in Group C after losing to England. The blue-yellows failed to deliver a single shot on target in England during the match. In the next round of qualification for the European Championship 2024, Ukraine will face North Macedonia. The match will take place on June 16. Also in June, the blue-yellows will play with Malta, the match will take place on June 19.
