Ex-midfielder Dynamo accused of organizing match-fixing
Head coach of Soligorsk Shakhtar Alexey Baga said the team would help pay for the midfielder’s fine Nikita Korzun.
“Only joint support, communication, male friendship will help us get out of this situation. I talked with him for a long time and one on one, and in a team. So far, in this whole situation, the Salihorsk Shakhtar carries the most holes.
“I don’t know who will pay: Nikita, his wife or someone else. Money will be paid for football player Koruzna so that he avoids disqualification. I can pay – we will collect around the city with a hat. This is a technical point. We must stand up for our footballer by any means.”
Recall that the former Dynamo player was disqualified for 12 months for his involvement in organizing match-fixing in the championship of Belarus. The midfielder must also pay a fine of 4.4 thousand dollars.
It was reported that the management of Shakhtar organized match-fixing in the championship of Belarus. Also, the Soligorsk club financially stimulated its rivals.
Korzun was a Dynamo Kyiv player from 2016 to 2020. The midfielder did not gain a foothold in the Kiev team and played on loan at Dynamo Minsk, Al-Fateh and Vilafrankensha.
