The case when one warrior in the field
The return semi-final match of the Conference League between the Dutch AZ Alkmaar and the British West Ham ended in a huge scandal. Ultras AZ, annoyed by the final defeat of their club, did not find anything better than to try to take out their anger on the British fans.
AZ fans went to the podium, where not only fans of the Hammers were sitting, but also the families of West Ham players. It is not known how it would have ended if it had not been on the podium of a fan of the British, known under the pseudonym Knollsey.
It was he who, standing on the stairs, single-handedly fought off the crowd of AZ Alkmaar fans, until the police intervened in the matter. The stewards at the stadium were either taken aback by such a game, or they simply decided not to interfere. As a result, even West Ham players could not contain their emotions.

One of the fan clubs of the Hammers has already reacted to Knollsey’s act. “Lifetime membership,” it said on the traffic page under Knollsey’s photo.
