The famous football player is now in the offensive brigade “Hurricane”
Former defender of the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kyiv Vladislav Vashchuk joined the ranks National Guard of Ukraine.
Vashchuk is now in the Uragan offensive brigade. It should be noted that the ex-football player at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine was with his children in Gostomel, where active hostilities were going on at that moment. Soon he and his family managed to leave along the humanitarian corridor.
Vladislav Vashchuk played Dynamo intermittently from 1993 to 2008. As part of the Kiev team, the defender became the champion of Ukraine 9 times, and in 1999 he reached the Champions League semi-finals with the team.
Vashchuk also played 63 matches for the national team of Ukraine. In addition to the capital Dynamo, he played for Moscow Spartak, Chernomorets, Lviv and Volyn.
Early on the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The war against Russia has been going on for 450 days.
