The former football player of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team will now serve in the National Guard.
Vladislav Vashchuk decided to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the former football player himself.
On his page on the social network, the former defender of the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kyiv said that he signed a contract with the National Guard, joining the Hurricane offensive brigade.
“Yes, it was my personal decision. Yes, relatives and friends are still in shock. And yes, I know that some will never understand me.
But I really believe in our success. I saw the “Russian world” with my own eyes and I will do everything so that no one in my country sees or feels like this.
And when the time comes, I will be able to answer exactly what I did during the war.
National Guard of Ukraine. Hurricane offensive brigade. The soldier Vladislav Vashchuk. I serve the Ukrainian people,” Vashchuk wrote.
Recall that Vashchuk previously told what he experienced in Gostomel at the beginning of a large-scale attack on Kremlin troops.
