Kucher: In the first half there was some kind of madhouse

Dnepr-1 snatched victory over Kolos at the end of the game

Head coach Dnepr-1 Oleksandr Kucher commented on the victory over Kolos (2:1) in the 27th round of the UPL. The mentor was dissatisfied with the game of his team in the first half.

“We played two different halves today. Before the break, we had no concentration and composure, which is why we gave many chances to excel for the opposing team – they scored a goal, and could have scored even more. In the first half, our guys were not like themselves. We can’t go into the game like that and make so many mistakes right from the start of the match, but we have to be collected, concentrated and aggressive. And what happened in the first half was some kind of madhouse.”

“But during the break we talked and in the second half the team came out with a different mood – they ran forward and did not let the opponent do anything at their own goal. The most important thing was when we scored the second goal. The guys in this regard are great – they endured to the end and were awarded this goal. A very important victory for us. Now we will move on and prepare for the next matches,” Kucher said.

Dnipro-1 scored 64 points and continues to fight for the first place in the standings of the Ukrainian Championship. In the next match, the Kuchera team will play with Vorskla.
