The Pitmen regained their leadership in the UPL
In the match of the 27th round of the championship of Ukraine Miner won Veres with a score of 2:1. Interestingly, the meeting took place in Rivne at the Avangard stadium.
The first goal in the match was scored in the middle of the first half – Alexander Zubkov scored. After the break, the Pitmen could have increased their lead, but Daniil Sikan missed the penalty. A few minutes later Veres equalized the score thanks to the efforts of Vladislav Sharay. The victory was brought to Shakhtar by Mykola Matvienko, who scored in the 84th minute.
After this match, Shakhtar scored 66 points and returned to first place in the UPL standings. Veres takes 10th position.
In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, Shakhtar will play against Zorya, while Veres will play against Oleksandriya.
