Ukrainian defeated the representative of Greece in two sets
Daria Snigur advanced to the second round of the ITF W100 tournament in Ilkley, UK. In the 1/16 finals, the Ukrainian, seeded under the fourth number, defeated the representative of Greece, Valentini Grammatikopoulou.
Tennis players spent an hour and 18 minutes on the court. Daria converted five breakpoints, giving her opponent two games on her serve.
In the 1/8 finals, Snigur will play with the winner of the match Jamie Loeb (USA) – Rana Stoiber (Great Britain).

Last week, Snigur made her debut match in the main draw of the WTA tournament. Daria lost to American Alison Risk at the start of the competition in Nottingham.
