The day before, Olympiacos reached the final. The Greek team defeated Monaco (76:62). The key was the third quarter, which Olympiacos won with a score of 27:2.
The final matches of the Euroleague will be held on Sunday, May 21. Barcelona will face Monaco in the match for third place, and then Real and Olympiacos will meet for the trophy.
