Tuttosport journalist Massimo Franchi does not believe the striker Alexander Kokorin continue his career in Fiorentina and the Russian’s success in Cyprus doesn’t bother anyone in Serie A.
Kokorin, who plays on loan for Aris, received the Cyprus Footballers’ Association award and was recognized as the country’s best player in the league at the end of the 2022/23 season.
– To be honest, Serie A clubs are indifferent to Kokorin’s success in Cyprus, no one will pay attention. Look where Cyprus is in the FIFA rankings – at 111th… That says it all. I don’t think Kokorin will continue his career at Fiorentina or any other Serie A club, Franchi told RB Sport.
The 32-year-old striker has made 28 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists.
