Metalist 1925 defeated Metalist in the Kharkov derby
Acting head coach Metalista 1925 Edmar commented on his team’s victory over metalworker (2:0) in the match of the 27th round of the UPL.
“We really needed a win, we knew that the match was also important for the opponent. I’m very happy that we won.”
Edmar also spoke about his emotions as a football team coach.
“The big difference is when you play, it’s just emotions, but when you’re a coach thirty times more worried, you see how the team is preparing for the game, you give them all the necessary information, and they feel that this game is special. We succeeded and they won today.”
Edmar’s wards are in ninth position in the UPL standings. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Metalist 1925 will play away against Ingulets on May 25.
