Atalanta coach offered €4m a year salary
Napoli intends to invite Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
Partenopeia president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to offer the mentor a salary of 4 million euros per year. It is reported that the future scheme of the team has been agreed with Gasperini – 3-4-3.
Earlier it was reported that Napoli head coach Luciano Spalletti wants to leave the team at the end of the season. De Laurentiis launched a contract extension option without prior conversation and agreement with the mentor himself, after which the relationship between Spalletti and the club president deteriorated.
Gasperini is also looking for a new team due to a conflict with management. It was reported that the specialist could continue his career in Torino and Genoa, who returned to Serie A.
Napoli became champions of Italy ahead of schedule. In the next round, Parthenopei will play with Bologna on May 28.
