The club has announced that it has lodged a complaint with the Spanish general prosecutor’s office for racist insults against the Brazilian player.
Real Madrid are truly outraged and condemn the events that happened yesterday regarding our player Vinicius Junior. This incident is an attack on the foundations of our social and democratic rule of law.
The Real Madrid Club believes that what happened is a hate crime and therefore a complaint has been filed with the Attorney General’s Office in order to investigate the facts and clearly determine responsibility.
Article 124 of the Spanish Constitution establishes the obligation of the Public Ministry to promote justice in order to protect the law, the rights of citizens and society.
