In a Sport game with only women, children and PCDs, fans were prevented from entering the stadium for wearing shirts similar to those prohibited by organized fans
Last Saturday, the 20th, fans of the sport were shirtless in front of Ilha do Retiro after being stopped at the entrance, before the game against Botafogo-SP. In a match with only women, children and people with disabilities in the stands, part of the red-black team did not enter the stadium because they wore shirts prohibited from organized supporters.
In a video sent by WhatsApp to TV Globo, the fans complained about the measure, which has been in force since 2015. The specific limitation of Red-Black fans that did not include men is part of a punishment determined by the STJD (for the invasion and aggressions in the duel with the Basquein October last year), which will last for two more games. In the recording, some women were wearing shirts with initials and symbols that allude to the organized supporters of the sport, banned from attending stadiums due to cases of vandalism and violence. In addition, the CNPJs of the organized teams of the Pernambuco team were extinguished in 2020. “This is a humiliation for girls, it does not exist. […] Dictatorship is back, is it? Does it exist?”said the man who made the video.
In response to the incident, the club stated that “the STJD did not allow the entry of shirts in allusion to the organized crowd responsible for punishing Sport of R$ 150 thousand and six restrictive games” is that “offered black shirts so that the fans could enter the headquarters wearing the clothes. They, however, did not accept it.
Despite what happened, which many in the video classified as oppression, the women led the victory party with the crowd, which was also made up of children and PCDs: Sport won Botafogo-SP with a 3-0 rout. Leão ranks 8th in the Serie B of the Brazilian Championship.
