Athletistic/Football. The departure of the Khimki Moscow region club from the RPL was commented on by Roman Teryushkov, a former member of the club’s supervisory board and a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
As a result of the match, which took place on May 22, Pari NN beat Sochi with the score 4:0, which deprived Khimki of the chance to retain their place in the country’s elite division.
Teryushkov noted that defeats always cause bitterness, but they are inevitable in sports, and Khimki in this case turned out to be less strong for sports reasons.
He expressed hope that Khimki found a coach and, therefore, a new direction of development. Talalaev bases his work on promising young football players with Russian passports. The club has a five-year strategy, supported by financial resources, and it is focused on the development of young players.
Teryushkov is sure that if Teryushkov has already led Khimki to the RPL, he will also face this task next season. He assured that he will always support the club, being their dedicated and loyal fan.
