Russian midfielder “Torpedo” Ivan Enin tells Metaratings.ru that “Zenith” was the team’s toughest opponent this season.
– Who has been the hardest to play this season? Which team surprised you the most?
– I think Zenit, especially on the road. In St. Petersburg, our task was to hold out as long as possible. We put a “bus”, we did it well. But in the end, “Torpedo” missed. Zenit really have very high quality players, they put pressure on us. Petersburgers was the toughest game in the league.
– How did Zenit hit you? Is it true that their level even differs from the RPL?
– I haven’t played against teams from the top 5 European leagues, so I can’t compare. But Zenit players are much quicker thinkers, they have 70% foreigners in the team and they make a big difference.
“Torpedo” with 13 points is on the 16th line of the WORLD RPL ranking. In the next round, the Moscow club will play at home with Orenburg on May 27.
