Defender Lokomotiv Maxim Nenakhov told Metaratings.ru the Red-Greens’ plans to compete for medals at the Russian Championship next season.
– Lokomotiv is in good shape, what tasks can the team pursue in the current season?
– We are now going from game to game and in every game we fight for victory. I think Lokomotiv will fight next season for medals, and maybe for the championship. I don’t want to guess, but we believe it.
Did you have a personal goal for this season? Did you complete it?
– My main task was to break into the main team of Lokomotiv. I did, now I play regularly in the beginning, so I fulfilled my personal goal.
Nenakhov, 24, has played 24 games this season and made 2 assists.
Lokomotiv have scored 39 points and sit eighth in the RPL standings. In the next round, on May 28, the railwaymen will face Dynamo Moscow on the road.
