Ukraine tied with Ireland in the League of Nations

Petrakov’s team continues to lead the group

Ukraine tied with Ireland (1:1) in the match of the fourth round of group 1 of division “B” League of Nations. The duel took place in the Polish city of Lodz due to the invasion of Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine.

Ireland took the lead midway through the first half through the efforts of Nathan Collins. After the break, Artem Dovbik equalized the score using a pass from Andriy Yarmolenko. No more goals were scored by the teams.

Ukraine is leading in group 1 after three matches played. The Blues and Yellows are one point ahead of Scotland. Ireland is in third position.

On September 21, Ukraine will play away with Scotland in the postponed match of the second round of the League of Nations.
