Santos won an important victory against Juventude for the Brasileirão after facing a sequence of negative draws in the competition
O saints traveled to Caxias do Sul to face the Youth on Tuesday night, 14th, in a match valid for the 12th round of the Brasileirão. Both teams had the objective of victory very clear, as the home team suffered a defeat in the last game and the visitors a draw. Playing away from home was not a problem for the Baixada team, which won 2-1.
Juventud’s defeat was complicated, as the team started the match in 19th place, with 10 points added and ended in runner-up. On the Santos side, the team from Baixada wanted to get closer to the G4, and with the victory managed to reach 6th place, winning again in the competition, after a sequence of draws.
