Athletistic/Football. Spartak Moscow intends to appeal the RFU FTC’s decision to disqualify Alexander Sobolev. This was stated by the head of the club’s press service, Dmitry Zelenov.
“Alexander apologized during the meeting, calmly and honestly answered questions from committee members. We will ask for the full text of the decision and after that we will file an appeal, ”reports Championship correspondent Zelenov.
Striker Sobolev, 26, received four disqualification matches for making an indecent gesture towards CSKA defender Willian Roshi. As a result of this punishment, Sobolev will miss Spartak’s last two games this season – against Pari NN (home) and Krylia Sovetov (away), as well as two encounters in the new Russian league draw.
